Part 2

Day 2


In the morning, we went back to the street nearby where those are new shophouses.....had our breakfast at one of the cafe called Divers Cafe (pic above on the left).....Hillary ordered one of the special dishes there......divers fried rice (pic above on the right) which just a normal fried rice wrapped by eggs......the portions of the food there were very big and not really delicious......Sheirly and I ordered fried bihun.....wow! the portion enough for at least few persons and the worst thing was the bihun totally screw up.....yuck!

After breakfast, we headed straight to the jetty and took bout 45mins boat ride to Seaventures Dive Resort (pic above) in Mabul.....a warm welcome by the staffs there.....introducing our divemaster, Eve.....

Once we ready and prepare all the diving equipments, we went for intro or check dive at seaventures platform below the resort......

Mabul is well-known for muck dive sites.....visibility was not that good but lots of marinelife can be discovered especially those macrolife and took some nice shots of them.....such as yellow trumpetfish, common pipefish, a school of yellow fusillier, lone humphead parrotfish, scorpionfish, whited-eye eels, different types of nudibranchs and etc......

Buffet lunch afterwards followed by another house reef dive to discover more marinelife below the resort......

Then teatime for a while followed by sunset dive in Paradise 2 near Mabul island......spent our own sweet time there in shallow water.....the divemaster brought us to see mandarin fish.....very shy and likes to hide inside the coral.....besides that, manage to spot some nudibranchs, christmastree seaworms, seacucumbers, seastar with seven arms and etc.....and of course not forgotten, red-banded pipefish.....I had a nice shot of it......

At night, after our dinner, we downloaded the pictures into notebook and view together.....and spent our night just like that.....
